Answer.1. 1; An anvil is a heavy block of iron or steel that blacksmiths use to shape metal. It’s durable enough to withstand red hot metals and repeated hammer blows, but you don’t want your foot to be under if it falls off the table.
Answer: 2; Assume isn’t only used to mean “accept as truth without checking”; it also means “take on the form of.” It might be safer if you don’t assume that the vampire standing in front of you isn’t merely a person assuming that form.
Answer.3. 4; When you inhibit something, you block it or hold it back. If you put plants in a dark room, you inhibit their growth. A teacher who mocks their students for giving wrong answers inhibits their willingness to speak up in class.
Answer.4.  Virtuous is “good” with a halo. If you call someone virtuous, you are saying that person is living according to high moral standards. Someone virtuous is who you want leading your Girl Scout troop.
Answer.5. 2; To dilate something is to make it wider. When the light fades, the pupil of your eye will dilate, meaning it looks bigger.
Answers for Question.6 – 10: The correct sequence is DBACFE. DB is a mandatory pair. ‘This ‘super volcano” refers to the ‘super volcano’ mentioned in D. A gives a general opinion of researchers and precedes C which gives the view of a specific researcher, Michael Thorne. CF is a mandatory pair since F gives the details of the researcher mentioned in C. E ends the passage by quoting what Michael Thorne said. ‘However’ is the key word here.
